Before he was assassinated on the floor of the Roman Senate, Julius Caesar, consul, dictator, master of Rome, was planning a major campaign against the Parthian Empire. He made preparations to invade Parthia with over 100,000 soldiers to both retrieve the eagles lost at the Battle of Carrhae and conquer the empire that posed a threat on Rome’s eastern frontier. ‘Conqueror’ is the story of Julius Caesar versus Pacorus of Dura.
